Storm Damage to a Dallas Basement

More than enough rain has visited our area recently. The rainwater entered this Dallas home basement and left several inches of standing water. The floor drain could not transport all of the contaminated groundwater water from the structure. We use portable water extractors to remove the remaining water, silt, and debris that was on the concrete surface. As we were drying out and extracting excessive moisture from the pad, we checked the furnace, changed the filters and treated the duct work with antimicrobial and antifungal agents as a precaution.
